The Ancient City of Kamphaeng Phet and Nakhon Chum Wat Phra Boromathat Chediyaram
This is an active temple in Nakhon Chum which dates back to the Sukhothai period. Today's chedi is of Burmese-style and was built over the original Sukhothai chedi. When we visited in December 2005 the temple was in really good shape and the chedi very well kept up. We had seen losts of pictures before that showed a rather neglected site. The sala next to the chedi was a new building and behind the chedi is an older Ubosot with beautiful gable decoratiions and a large Buddha image inside.
