City of Kamphaeng Phet and Nakhon Chum

 Wat Phra Kaeo

Wat Phra Kaeo is the biggest temple of the Historical Park and was part of the royal palace. It contains several colossal Buddha images which are U-Thong-style of the early Ayutthaya period.  This temple is located inside the old city wall and is relatively close to the center of the modern city, but the settings within the trees give it a nice atmosphere.
