The Ancient City of Kamphaeng Phet and Nakhon Chum Wat Phra Non
While most visitors just see the Wat Phra That (actually even that is pretty quiet), there is a much larger area to the north, through the ancient city wall, called Aranyik area. This is where we took plenty of time on our trip to Kamphaengphet in 2007 to really enjoy all the monuments. Wat Phra Non was built during the 15th to 16th Century A.D. and as the name say's it contains a sleeping Buddha image in the Viharn building.
