Wat Phra Kaeo Noi (Khao Wang)
Wat Phra Kaeo Noi is the
small ubosot on top of the mountain Khao Wang. It is visible from far and
nicely mixes in with the Phra Nakhon Khiri Royal Palace and several chedi’s.
It is modelled after the temple of the same name in Bangkok’s Grand Palace and
the assembly of buildings embedded into the green forest on the hill is the
dream of every photographer. Next to the ubosot is Chedi Phra Sutthasela,
a red sandstone prang and three pavilions.
