Wat Boworniwet
Don't be scared if you pass this temple in a taxi and the driver takes both hands off the steering while to traditionally greet this temple with folded hands while driving. This is one of the most important temples in Bangkok. Here, some of the kings spent their time as monks, like every male in Thailand is supposed to do. The last one was King Bhumipol, who spent the lent of 1956 in Wat Boworniwet. The inside of the temple shows a rare collection of two Buddha statues, one sitting behind the other.
