Temples of Thailand - a photographic journey

Wat Chai Mongkhon
Wat Chai Mongkhon was a temple I just picked out on the street map of Pattaya. Just to see what a temple might look like that sits a block away from the massage parlors and bars. We actually went back a couple of times after all. It turned out to be a beautiful temple with so much detail to see. In the pagoda of the temple is a Chinarat Buddha image as well as a more then 350 year old statue from Ayuttaya called Chaimongkhon in the posture called "stopping the relatives from fighting". The temple here believes that it might stop trouble, conflicts or any other harm to our life. How perfect to put this into this location in the middle of Pattaya!
