Wat Sri Bunruang

Wat Sri Bunruang was a litte extra treat on the old city wall of Phrae. It is a small and very quiet temple, with a long row of wooden kuti's for the monks. In the temples Ubosot is a statue of Phra Buddha Sribunyophas, which is highly revered by the people of Phrae. It is of Chiang Saen style. On the way out an elderly woman approached us to take her home to her house which was an interesting local experience for us.
