Temples of Thailand - a photographic journey
Bangkok Area Provinces: Central North North-East West South East
Wat Chet Yot
Wat Chet Yot is an imitation of the temple with the same name in Chiang Mai. However here the stucco decorations are missing. When we visited the chedi was freshly painted and the white color along with the golden tops and the blue sky were an amazing color combination. Inside the chedi a sign reminds that "Lady don't up stair". However, for us men, the stairways was also quite narrow and the ceiling quite low, so we had our problems to get upstairs. The inside of the Viharn is decorated with murals depicting the life of Buddha.
