Wat Sing

Wat Sing

Wat Sing was not in it's best condition when we visted it first in September 2005. It needed renovation badly, which was a bit unfortunate because it is the oldest Mon-style temple in the province. When we returned to visit the temple in June 2009 we found all the buildings in a much better condition. The newer viharn (Sala Din)  contains Luang Phor To, an Ayutthaya-style Buddha image, dating back more than 320 years. Luang Phor Phet, a reclining Buddha image is also located at this temple as are several old antiques.
