Wat Thon Kwain

The sign of the temple actually says Wat Inthrawat but the map and the books call it Wat Thon Kwain. After having visited Wat Doi Suthep with it's masses of tourists, this temple is heaven in the country side. Quiet and remote and in it's rural setting, this temple has retained it's original look and feel with lots of carved wood and little details. Perfect Beauty - Lanna-style!
