Phu Kao Thong

The Golden Mount or Phu Kao Thong was built on an artificial hill and dominated for a long time the otherwise flat city of Bangkok. You have to climb up about 300 stairs to get to the golden Chedi on the top. It contains a relic of Buddha, which was brought in from India in 1899.
