Wat Chaiyatikaramit

A small temple in Phana district is Wat Chaiyatikaramit, which houses several exquisit Lao-style Buddha images. During our visit the Ubosot was under renovation and we were just about to head back, when we asked the abbot of the temple if we could see the image. We were able to pay our respect to several beautiful Buddha images, which the abbot had specially arranged for us to see. A very special moment for us and we enjoyed our long and private conversation with him.
