Wat Sam Wihan

Ubosot of Wat Sam Wihan

Wat Sam Wihan lies just outside of the old city, to the north of the river. As it's name says, there were three Viharn's at this temple. Now there are two and an Ubosot. One of the old viharn's contains a huge reclining Buddha image. There is a large seated image (Luang Phor Khao) in front of the bell-shaped chedi and a large seated Buddha image (Luang Phor Thong) is located inside the Ubosot.
