Wat Phra That Laem Li

Wat Phra That Laem Li

Phra That Laem Li is a very small temple, which is difficult to find even when following the initial signs. We were circling around the rice fields and village for a while before we came to the small and abandoned temple. Somebody must take care of it, but we could not see anyone. There is a temple building amongst the trees and an open structure with a reclining Buddha image close to the small chedi. The signs in Thai said that the chedi was first put here in the year B.E. 999, which would make it more than 1500 years old.
