Wat Muang

Wat Muang lies on the banks of the river in Inburi, a district in Singburi province. We had planned to come here before, but could never find it or where too late in the day. In 2008 we scheduled a special trip to this temple and were lucky enough to have the abbot of the temple show us the temple buildings and especially the beautiful Ayutthaya-style statue of the Phra Pratan. The old temple building is covered with mural paintings but showed also how badly it needed a renovation.
