Wat Kun Kong
Wat Kun Kong is an old temple in Hang Dong which is known in history for a stop over by King Naresuan on his way to Cambodia. We were lucky to meet a friendly monk who showed us around and explained the various buildings in the temple to us. The old Ubosot is really worth to see even though it needs to be renovated badly. Crossing the bridge over to the new Ubosot we walked over a pond with fish who can be fed. The new Ubosot contains a seated Buddha image in meditation pose and several large mural paintings on the walls.
