Wat Ngoen Sutthawat
Wat Ngoen Sutthawat in the center of Chonburi city was the clear highlight of our visit to Chonburi province. A temple which is open and a place of worship for the local people. A smaller viharn contains a statue of Luang Phor To as well as a statue of a highly respected monk. To the side of it is a larger viharn with a large seated Buddha image and a reclining Buddha image. The walls of this building are so richly decorated that we had to walk around several times to see all the details. As we were looking for a temple for a special ceremony that day, we were lucky to end up in Wat Ngoen Sutthawat because several monks sat down and conducted the ceremony for us.
