Wat Phra That Phu Khwang

Wat Phra That Phu Kwang

Driving east from Phayao city we came across street signs to Wat Phra That Phu Khwang and followed them up a hill in a very rural setting. At first we were not able to get out of our car because some dogs kept us inside until an elderly monk invited us in. This temple is a very quiet temple with a large Ubosot with open sides. To the back of if is a large Chedi with standing Buddha images on its sides.
