Wat Nak Prok

Wat Nak Prok

We visited Wat Nak Prok with a monk friend from a neighboring temple to see one of his monk friends. It was a long overdue visit to this beautiful and important temple, which dates back to the Ayutthaya period. The renovation of the ubosot inside and outside had just been completed, so it looked really nice with all the fresh paint. Most people come to visit this temple to pay respect to the Buddha image Nak Prok in the Vihara, which is an impressive buddha under the shelter of the seven-tiered serpent.
